Write and Revise Part 2To Revise
This portion of the contest is open to anyone who is not judging. It is best f you have already submitted something to revise in the first part, but if not you can note =VertigoArt with the piece and he will determine whether or not you may participate with that piece. Ideally the piece you are revising is a free write that you are taking from conception to perfection, but any piece that is not polished fully will do.
The winner of the first portion of this contest will be on even ground with everyone else in this portion.

Daily Deviation Suggestion Drive!Back By Popular Demand!
In January of 2012, the community was challenged by `thorns to do something about their complaints on dA. Thus was born this very group! But before the group, it was just a fledgling idea on `Kneeling-Glory's account that began with a DD Suggestion Contest. The results of that contest were overwhelming. And so, under the prodding of quite a few Community Volunteers, we're going to do it again!

A not so monthly feature.I've been so busy.

The people who've been watching me for awhile probably know that each month I try to do a feature of the wonderful art I've found.....and you may also know I havn't done that lately. I've been ~~procrastinating~~ so swamped with school work, administrating groups, and trying to have a social life that I havn't been searching for new art from people who I havn't already featured. It makes me wonder if I should keep doing these features.

Welcome to the first contest of 2013 for the group! Since the last contest of 2012 went down well as it was mixed medias - we're going to let you enter with whatever type of Art you like. So you can enter Fractal, Photography, Digital Art or Traditional. The aim of this contest is to have a theme of Abstract Shapes within your work. Your work will be declined if it doesn't reflect this, so be sure to make the theme obvious in your piece of work! We're also opening up all of our folders again, so enjoy submitting your work once more!
Rules

Entries must be NEW i.e created on or after 1st January 2013

Entries must be Abstract and must have a theme of 'Shapes' with minimal manipulation. Black and white is allowed.

You do need to be a group member to participate!

I'm Turning 25!

In honor of my quarter century (25 years old!) I want you to tell me what you want to accomplish by the time you are 25. If you are already 25, by the time you're 50. Older than 50, 75. Older than 75, 100. Also, if you're older than 75 you have mad props for being here.

The Catch: You can only use 25 words, and I want them to be poetic. You can use whatever format, but you have to use exactly 25 words. And they have to express your wish in a poetic manner.

The Details: Upload your entry to the correct gallery, then send the thumb or link to me in a note titled "25th Bday Contest". I will be counting words, so make sure you get exactly 25 or it will be disqualified. You can enter as many times as you wish.

The Prize: Three winners will receive 250 points each and a feature in my journal. Each entrant can win only once.

I'm Looking For: Words that inspire, create desire, make me feel something. I want to know what's in that beating bucket of blood you've got inside your chest.

And on another note, this is a fantastic idea for a contest, very tempted to enter! Question, does an ampersand count as a word or is it cheating?
